Lunar New Year Floral Display February 1, 2011

Celebrate the Year of the Rabbit with a visit to the Conservatory of Flowers where fragrant orange blossoms perfume the air and boost all visitors’ chances for good fortune and wealth in 2011. For three weeks only, the Conservatory’s Potted Plants Gallery will feature many of the plants considered auspicious and particularly symbolic for the Lunar New Year including pomelo, kumquat, Mandarin oranges, and more. Also on display will be several unusual and aromatic citrus plants from across Asia such as Buddha’s Hand and Rangpur lime.
