World Forestry Center Hosts Lumberjack Breakfast on Sunday, September 9 to Celebrate
Its Newest Exhibit, “Timberrr! A Nostalgic Look Back at Working in the Woods.”
Eat great food while supporting the World Forestry Center during this fantastically flannel fundraising event! Both lumberjacks and lumberjills will greet guests as they arrive with big appetites for this fun and filling breakfast. Taking place underneath the tented plaza on the World Forestry Center campus, hungry guests will grab a stack of pancakes and head towards the toppings bar to personalize those flapjacks with everything from chocolate chips to coconut shavings. And if that’s not enough, eggs and sausage will be served to make sure no one goes away with an empty stomach. And of course, there will be enough coffee, tea or juice to wash it all down.
Those 21 and older that want to add a little spice to their breakfast can visit the Make-Your-Own Bloody Mary Station for only $4.
Price also includes admission into the Discovery Museum where there will be fun activities and entertainment as well as the chance to see their newest special exhibit, “Timberrr! A Nostalgic Look Back at Working in the Woods.”

Flannel shirts and suspenders are encouraged for this family friendly day that will help support the Center’s important mission to teach about the importance of trees in our lives.
