Announcing the Dunny Series 5 Trading Party at Lulubell Toy Bodega!

What is a Dunny? DUNNY is a 3" action figure made of soft, smooth vinyl. DUNNY was created to be customized in a broad variety of styles by diverse artists working in different mediums. DUNNY is produced by Kidrobot and sold in limited edition runs. The 3" DUNNY series toys comes "blind boxed", which means you don't know which of the 19 possible varients you have gotten until you open the box!

What is a Dunny Trading Party?
The day before Kidrobot releases each 3" Dunny series, select Kidrobot retailers around the world have a "trading party". The Dunny's are available for sale, and Dunny fans attend the parties to buy Dunny's, open them up in store to see which style Dunny came in their boxes, and trade extra's with other Dunny fans in attendance. Attendees include children, adult collector's, Kidrobot fans, Dunny artist's fans, and urban toy lovers, just to name a few! For past trading parties, Dunny fans from throughout Arizona have driven down to be a part of this fun event! Some people buy an entire case to ensure they get most to all figures in the release, other people just get a few & join in the fun! Anything goes at the Dunny shows!

What is Dunny series 5?
Each time Kidrobot releases a series, it either has a number or a theme. Past releases included: Dunny series 1 through 4, as well as series featuring more regional or genre specific such as the French series, the Azteca series, the Tattoo series, and the Los Angeles series. Dunny series 5 features figures designed by such artists as: include Amanda Visell, Aya Kakeda, Clutter, Devilrobots, Dirty Donny, Frank Kozik, Huck Gee, JMGS//Jellymon, Jesse LeDoux, JK5, Junko Mizuno, Kathie Olivas, MAD, Mad Barbarians, MISHKA, Reach, Sneaky Raccoon, Steven Harrington, TOOFLY. Included in some boxes are 1 of 600 "Golden Tickets", which if found are redeemable for a super limited Dunny designed by artist Huck Gee.
