Luis Miguel is known around the world for his musical versatility and song styles. He’s earned nine Grammy and Latin Grammy Awards for beloved songs and albums and according to a CBS News report, Luis is called “El Sol de México” (The Sun of Mexico). Luis Miguel has enjoyed a singing and music producing career that has spanned nearly 30 years, as he released his first album Un Sol when he was only 11 years old. Luis Miguel made a successful, difficult transition from a child singer to a popular adult performer. Starting in the late 1980s, Luis began racking up a string of hit songs that brought him international attention, according to Billboard Magazine. In 1993, Miguel was personally invited by Frank Sinatra to join him on his Duets II album and to perform live in a nationally televised special in honor of Sinatra's 80th birthday, along with other stars such as Stevie Wonder and Natalie Cole. Luis has 33 albums to his name, including his eponymous 2010 album Luis Miguel.
