LUCINDA WILLIAMS comes to the Kentucky Theater for the first time with her full rock band. She is a three-time Grammy winning folk, rock and country singer and songwriter. She was named "America's best songwriter" by TIME magazine in 2002. Some of William's biggest success was as a songwriter. Mary Chapin Carpenter recorded a cover of "Passionate Kisses" and the song became a smash country hit for which Williams received the Grammy Award for Best Country Song in 1994. Her latest album, titled West, has just been released. Vanity Fair has praised it, saying "Lucinda Williams has made the record of a lifetime - part Hank Williams, part Bob Dylan, part Keith Richards circa Exile On Main Street..."

CHARLIE LOUVIN is a legendary country music star, part of the Louvin Brothers who dominated the early pop and country charts. Elvis Presley was there opening act! Charlie, already a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, was recently inducted into the Grand Ole Opry.
