Join Tuscan wine icon Lamberto Frescobaldi for Luce at A Voce, an exclusive dinner featuring the celebrated Luce della Vite wines paired with Chef Missy Robbins’ modern Italian cuisine at A Voce Columbus.
Lamberto Frescobaldi represents the thirtieth generation of the Frescobaldi winemaking family in Tuscany. Mr. Frescobaldi’s vision and inspiration were instrumental in conceiving the 1995 partnership with the Robert Mondavi family in the Luce della Vite estate, now wholly owned by the Frescobaldi family. Mr. Frescobaldi oversees viticulture and winemaking across the family’s estates in Tuscany and Friuli. The Luce della Vite estate, which was the first in Montalcino to plant Merlot, represents the Frescobaldi philosophy of balancing tradition and innovation.
Executive Chef Missy Robbins joined A Voce in 2008 and has since received critical acclaim for her classic Italian dishes prepared with a subtle, contemporary flair and elegance. Her cuisine focuses on highlighting flavorful ingredients and the diverse regional traditions of Italy. Robbins has been named one of the Best New Chefs of 2009 in New York Magazine, further broadening her notoriety and culinary reputation in the U.S. and internationally.
The vintages of Luce selected for this very special dinner will be served from extremely rare ‘Imperial’ 6L bottles.
Luce at A Voce takes place on Monday, May 3, 2010 from 6pm to 9pm. Admission is $250 per person, all inclusive.
