Formed in Duluth, Minnesota in 1994, Low's sparse, minimal aesthetic brought them to the forefront of the post-grunge, slo-core movement. The husband and wife team of guitarist, vocalist Alan Sparhawk and drummer, vocalist Mimi Parker's harmonies are sweetly melancholic, and hauntingly beautiful.
