Formed in Duluth, Minnesota in 1994, Low's sparse, minimal aesthetic brought them to the forefront of the post-grunge, slo-core movement. The husband-and-wife team of guitarist/vocalist Alan Sparhawk and drummer/vocalist Mimi Parker's harmonies are sweetly melancholic and hauntingly beautiful.
