Aims of the session
Increase awareness of and confidence with contracting
Objectives
By the end of the session participants will have:
• an overview of the new performance management framework for local authorities
• a picture of the LAA priorities across the region
• an understanding of the difference between grant funding and contracting
• assessed how ‘tender ready’ they are and flagged up issues that need further work
• considered how their organisations gives ‘added value’
• been introduced to an outcomes planning framework
• thought about how to take work on contracting forward
