Set at a lakeside summer vacation house, Love! Valour! Compassion! is the story of eight gay men spending the three major holiday weekends of one summer together. Gregory is the owner of the lakeside home a couple hours outside of New York City. He’s a successful choreographer and happens to be going through a mid-life crisis, questioning his work and his ability to maintain his relationship with his blind partner, Bobby. The emotionally poignant yet comedic play touches on AIDS and infidelity, flirtation and soul-searching, truth-telling and skinny-dipping!
The original 1995 Broadway production was nominated for five Tony Awards and won two, including the Tony Award for Best Play.
The cast includes Todd Black (Gregory), Chris Silberman (Bobby), Charles Wingerter (Perry), Andy Anderson (Arthur), Keith Rabin Jr. (Ramon), Preston Lee Britton (Buzz) and Shane Delavan as John/James.
