Another Valentine’s Day is coming up, and your plans call for sitting alone in your room. The smell of roses wafts in the window, and every station on the radio is playing a love song. And your friends won’t stop talking about his romantic date.
Love Sucks.
Fortunately for you, we agree with you, and while we can’t fix your love life, we can at least commiserate!
Come to the eleventh annual FREE Love Sucks a cappella festival, and listen to Caltech’s Fluid Dynamics and Out of Context, along with special guest groups, sing about how much love sucks in a musical celebration of bitterness, loneliness, and misery. Or come laugh at those of us who aren’t as lucky as you are.
Some of the fantastic and many-award-winning guest groups performing for you this year will be:
Cal Poly's Take it SLO
CSUN's Acasola
UCLA's Random Voices
USC's Trojan Men
USC's Troy Tones
USC Sirens
Admission is FREE, and refreshments will be served.
So come join us at 3:00 on Sunday, February 10th, in Caltech's Dabney Lounge for a free concert of rock to chase away the blues.
And who knows: maybe you'll find another lonely soul at the concert to share Valentine's Day with!
To find Dabney Lounge, park on Holliston and walk to building #40 on Caltech's map: http://www.caltech.edu/map/
