Louisville Christian Writers - Monthly Meeting July 11, 2009

Doors open for fellowship and for those who bring in dinner at 4:30pm, and the actual meeting begins at 5:45pm.

5:45pm to 7:00pm - Public invited open meeting.
7:00pm to 7:15pm - Break and 1st dismissal.
7:15pm to 8:30pm - Critique groups for members and invited guests.

This month is filled with good news and promise. We will learn about writing different lengths of bios, including what we would write for a book jacket, and then we will introduce a poetry author and editor from a new magazine: The Basilica Review. Our guest, Renee Emerson, will share information about the new magazine and the current call for submissions, and then she will stay for our critique session specifically to critique poetry writers would like to see published in her magazine.

If you come as a visitor, please arrive a little early to introduce yourself. We always welcome new writers and look forward to meeting you.
