'Lost in Yonkers' is a Pulitzer Prize winning play by Neil Simon, set during World War II. This story is about two young brothers Jay and Arty, who are left in Yonkers by their father so he can travel the country to pay off his debts. It is a heartfelt tale of a dysfunctional family in 1940s New York and is howlingly funny, with each character more eccentric and fascinating than the other.
