Formed in 1969 in Havana, Cuba, this 20-piece orchestra has reshaped salsa music over the past forty years by adding elements of the Caribbean rhythms, Afro-Cuban drumming, modern instruments such as electric guitars, violins and synthesizers and rock/pop.
