The Sixth Annual Los Gatos Shakespeare Festival presents three plays in reperatory for its 2007 season in Oak Meadow Park (Corner of Blossom Hill Road and University Avenue) in Los Gatos July 13th through August 4th.

William Shakespeare's romantic adventure story, "Pericles, Prince of Tyre", opens the season, and performs at 8 PM on July 13, 21, 26, 29 and August 4th. Presented in the classical storytelling style of the 1001 Arabian Nights, this production is directed by Bruce De Les Dernier.

Shakespeare's timeless story of power politics, patriotism and revenge in ancient Rome, "Julius Caesar" performs at 8 PM on July 15, 20, 28, August 2nd. Directed by Bruce W. De Les Dernier.

The season also includes the rollicking comedy "Tartuffe" by Moliere; and it performs at 8 PM July 14, 19, 22, 27, and August 3rd. This fast-paced satire has delighted audiences since the 17th Century. Directed by Amy Himes.

The festival also includes a number of free events this season, including a stage reading of one of next years' productions "The Further Adventures of the Three Musketeers"; Talks with Bruce De Les Dernier about this year's plays, as well as our Camp Shakespeare youth conservatory class performances.

The Los Gatos Shakespeare Festival is an all-outdoor venue in the beautiful setting of Oak Meadow Park, 200 Blossom Hill Road, Los Gatos, CA (next to Lake Vasona County Park). Seating is provided, and wheelchair seating is available.
