Soprano Lori Anderson York presents a recital featuring Italian songs by Rossini, French art songs of Faure and Debussy, and an English song cycle by Britten as well as musical theater favorites. Ms. Anderson York spent seven years with the San Francisco Opera Chorus before settling back into her native New England roots. Locally, she has been a soloist with the Wellesley Symphony, Lavazza String Ensemble as well as at Amazing Things Arts Center. Her passion for music has led her to be an advocate for early childhood music education. Ms. Anderson York founded Little Friends Music in 2006 and teaches music classes to young children throughout Boston's MetroWest area.
