The Lorain County Historical Society offers something different for children 6 to 12 years of age. Youth History Camp will be held June 21-25 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. providing campers with a series of activities about a different historical topic each day.
The schedule is as follows:

June 22 Back to Nature, Explore the grounds of The Hickories and the nearby Elywood to discover the plants, animals and bugs that have been a part of the nature of Lorain County for many years.
June 23 This Old House, Learn to identify architectural styles and features of homes built between 1880 to 1930. You will take part in a scavenger hunt of houses while walking through the neighborhoods near The Hickories and then design your own “dream home.”
