ussie rock band Long-Reef has carved out their rock infused sound from years of touring the east coast of Australia. Long days spent on the road earning fans, mixed with the constant search of any surf break within reach, became the perfect balance for singer/songwriter Josh Barker, drummer Aaron Carruthers, guitarist Nick Miller & Bassist Jim Wark to write & refine their melodic rock style.

It was the bands hard work and dedication that lead to several national prime time TV performances and also the opportunity to perform at a variety of high profile events throughout Australia. The band has already traveled extensively internationally including performances in the UK and North America, also performing for the troops on several remote South Pacific Islands.

Long-Reef’s dedication to continually challenge themselves to find new opportunities and new fans led them to make the move to the USA in 2010, writing and recording what is shortly to become their debut album. In the process the band has sparked interest in their music & song writing abilities from major international rock icons such as Chad Kroeger from Nickelback.

Long-Reef is bringing a fresh melodic based approach to rock music fuelled by hard work and a burning desire to succeed and in the process the band is captivating audiences everywhere.
