Long Meadow Ranch Winery & Farmstead is the place to be on Fat Tuesday, when the Hall family and Executive Chef Sheamus Feeley throw a rollicking Mardi Gras masquerade dinner celebration in honor of their one-year anniversary at the local gathering place and Napa Valley destination. Hailing from the South and a former resident of New Orleans, Feeley will prepare a New Orleans-inspired family-style dinner menu, served with great wine, excellent cocktails, live New Orleans music on tap, party favors and more.
Upon arrival, revelers can nosh on a sample starter menu of Fried Boudin Balls with Creole Mustard Sauce; Potted Pig on Toast with Mustard; Fried and Grilled Oysters with Remoulade; and Mini Mufalettas. The sample family-style dinner menu includes: Duck and Andouille Gumbo; Dirty Rice with Rabbit; Red Beans and Rice; Jambalaya of Chicken and Sausage; Grits with Grass-fed Beef Grillades; Tops and Bottoms (Tokyo Turnip Tops and Bottoms); Kale with Garlic, Chile Pequin and Toasted Grana; and California Delta Crawfish Etoufee. Dessert may include King Cake and Crème Caramel.
