This is a live presentation which allows the planetarium's star projector to be used to its fullest capabilities. Learn about the night time sky as seen from your own backyard! We'll explore the current night sky including the seasonal constellations, stars, planets, deep sky objects, and much more... Great for the entire family, this show serves as a wonderful introduction to the brilliant night sky that we can see right here on Long Island. Following the program, and weather permitting, the planetarium staff will open the 16" Meade telescope located in the planetarium's sky observatory to look at all the objects that were discussed during the show, making this a unique and powerful experience for all.
