Alive Theatre presents its 3rd Annual 'Long Beach Poppin' Play Festival' with 11 different plays in 12 days.
A reprise of Alive Theatre's thrilling, annual event that started it all! This year, Alive Theatre is presenting an eclectic and vibrant mixture of 11 new plays, three nights a week, over the four-week festival run. The plays range in length from 5 minutes to an hour, with a different line-up and artistic offering on each of the 3 nights, in weekly repertory. These unique plays span the theatrical spectrum: from a drama about loss and elephants, to an absurdist comedy; Commedia dell' Arte to an original musical about failure; from the avant-garde to the darkest of comedies - we are sure to stimulate every topographical region of our audiences' creative pallet.
