Long Beach Livin Music and Awareness Series Rolls On

Livin the Dream Production’s Surfrider Benefit Concert Series Heats up with The Dirty Heads, Zen Robbi and The Breezy LoveJoy Band at SHORE Ultra Lounge in Long Beach.

Long Beach, CA May 8, 2009 -- Livin the Dream Productions is proud to present The Dirty Heads, Zen Robbi and The Breezy Lovejoy Band Friday, May, 8 2009 at the newly remodeled SHORE Ultra Lounge (PCH & 2nd) in Long Beach.

This concert will be the second event held under Livin’ the Dream Production’s music and awareness series dubbed Long Beach Livin’ ’09.

The Long Beach Livin' Tour is a series of events that will take place throughout the spring and summer of 2009 in Long Beach, California leading to a one day music and awareness festival at Cal State Long Beach.

All of the Long Beach Livin' shows will benefit the Surfrider Foundation (Long Beach chapter), as well as be used as a forum to educate attendees of local ecological issues concerning our city’s waters, coasts and shores.

On Friday, May 8, 2009 Huntington Beach’s finest reggae/rock/surf band The Dirty Heads will headline an amazing night of live music, art and raising ecological awareness.

Also performing this night will be Long Beach’s most entertaining, crowd pleasing jazz/funk fusion band Zen Robbi and an LA based project The Breezy Lovejoy Band bringing upbeat jazzy grooves to get the night started.

The Long Beach Livin’ Tour will continue its focus of raising environmental awareness for local and global issues while bringing back that old school Long Beach vibe.

Along with great music, the Long Beach chapter of the Surfrider Foundation will be in attendance, educating concertgoers of current global and local ecological issues (i.e. the deconstruction of the breakwater and combating the use of single use plastics) while our colleagues from Costa Mesa’s artist collective eVocal will feature an art gallery, organic clothing and live art.

This show will be held at SHORE Ultra Lounge in Long Beach and be a ticketed event ($15 presale/$20 day of event), with partial proceeds benefiting the Long Beach chapter of the Surfrider Foundation. Doors open for this 21+ event at 8:00pm.
