On Saturday, February 16th, hundreds of members of the community will help celebrate Long & Scott Farms’ 50th anniversary in business. In 1963, Frank moved his young family to Mt. Dora and started farming on 100 acres of sand in Zellwood, Florida. The farm has grown to 1,200 acres, adding a popular Country Café, Produce Market & Club, and Corn Maze.
The celebration will be free to the public and will include cooking demonstrations with local produce, educational booths and talks, hay rides, kids crafts, face painting, and more!
