Technology-based startups: gain exposure at the London Business School Technology Summit, 20 February 2009
Technology-based startups are invited to pitch their ideas in front of top executives from the technology industry in the UK and Europe at the London Technology Summit at London Business School on 20 February 2009.
Hosted at London Business School’s campus at Regent’s Park, the third annual Technology Summit will bring together over 200 senior executives from the technology industry in the UK and Europe to discuss technology from a business perspective.
Topics being discussed will include: internet business models; mobile operation systems; how the credit crunch is affecting the technology sector and what will technology being used in the home will be like in the future.

Startups are invited to write a one-page brief of their company for selection by a panel of Technology Club members and staff from the Entrepreneurship faculty at London Business School.
Selected start ups will then be invited to the conference to pitch their company to the conference attendees who will then vote for the most promising startups. A ‘demo corner’ will also give startups a chance to show off their product to the top technology executives in attendance.
The London Technology Summit promises to be a watershed event for the London technology community, bringing together enterprise, consumer and emerging technology for a lively day of discussion on issues and emerging trends in the industry.
To enter the competition, submit a one-page brief to techclub@london.edu
The brief should contain a description of:
• the business’s activities and business model,
• your number of customers or users,
• the stage of your company, your funding, profitability and number of employees,
• and most importantly, the interesting product or technology that you can demo on the day.
Selected companies will be notified by Friday, 13 February. Companies that get selected to pitch can attend the conference for free.
