London Ruby User Group (LRUG) August 2009 Meeting August 12, 2009

Taryn East will talk about profiling your ruby apps.
Alex Graul will talk about AMQP in ruby. Gerhard Lazu might help out here with a demo of a ruby app that uses AMQP for audio streaming.

Morten Bagai from Heroku, won't be able to turn up to talk about Heroku. However, he said he hopes to come back at some point in the future.

After the talks, which finish about 8pm, we go to the pub down the street - The Crown Tavern (http://www.fancyapint.com/pubs/pub199.html) for a few drinks.
