Meet other local people who are interested in Orisha, a tradition focusing on indigenous cultures and religous practices from Nigeria, Benin, Haiti, Trinidad, etc. Discuss topics such as worship, community-building, and spiritual elevation in an open environment. This is an intellectual discussion group as opposed to an ile, terrio, house, church etc. We don't meet to practise, but rather to discuss ideologly common to all traditions and explore differences through rational discourse.

Aboru, Aboye, Abosise!
Alafia all! What a pleasure November's meetup was!
Despite terrible weather, many made an effort and came out to meet and interact with each other and it was a warm, friendly group.
We had a nice 'getting-to-know-you' chat, and coffees, lemonades and such went around.
After we were ejected from Waterstones, we had a nice wander arround and found somewhere to continue our chat. I want to thank everyone who came out, those who are registered here on Meetup and friends of friends who came anyway. I think we all had a good time, and it felt good getting to know each other better.
My thanks to you all for being a part of it. Our meetup will stay at Waterstones for now, but I've altered the regular date to accommodate another event occuring that afternoon. Remember we meet in the bar/cafe on the fifth floor. I've also set the time a little earlier so we can have a little more time to talk without having to roam Picadilly Circus looking for a place to squat.
I hope some of those who had hoped to come make it in December, and those of you who came out, come back again. And friends of friends are always welcome! :D
Mojuba Oludumare!
Ase & Modupe to you all!
