FREE Event Armed Forces Day celebrates and commemorates the past and continuing contributions of the Armed Forces and veteran communities. It is a great chance for Londoners to show their support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from serving troops to Service families, veterans and recruits. Highlights include:
1200-1300 Veterans’ parade
Veterans march across the iconic Tower Bridge, with a canon salute and fly past honouring the parade. Spectators are welcome to watch the parade then come to the event afterwards.
1200- 1500 Live music and entertainment
Bring a picnic and listen to close harmony singers, Jazz, marching bands and more.

Army field kitchen
An opportunity to watch a real army field kitchen in action! Feeling brave? Then try tasting some ‘food for heroes’.

Children’s activities
Including the opportunity to get close to real army vehicles and tackle a climbing wall.

Armed Forces and Veteran information stands Learn fascinating facts and history about our Armed Forces and Veterans and pick up some giveaways.
