Through his fifty-year career in photography, Darius Kinsey (1869-1945) created images that captured the character of the early Northwest. More than a simple documentary record, the Kinsey aesthetic communications the monumental interaction between men, machinery and mammoth trees. This exhibit features approximately forty enlargements of Kinsey photographs, most relating to logging in northwest Washington and most being exhibited for the first time.
