Loess Hills April Photowalk April 16, 2011

We are having a Flickrwalk on Saturday, April 16th. We will be hiking/photographing at Loess Hills Scenic Overlook. At 2pm we will be meeting at the Loess Hills Overlook Platform, just west of Preparation Canyon State Park near Moorhead, IA.

The Loess Hills Scenic Overlook is a large deck built on a scenic hilltop, very close to the road. There is a 3/4 mile loop trail that leads through native and restored prairies, as well as small groves of eastern red cedar.
