LodeStar debutes an entirely new line-up of digital dome shows begining Sat, Nov 4, featuring "Black Holes: The Other Side of Infinity," a cutting-edge look (and flight through) black holes. The show features stunning science visualizations of the cosmos and a great read by narrator Liam Neeson.

Joining "Black Holes" in a special double-feature offering is the LodeStar classic "Wonders of the Universe." The show is powered by an incredible score by NM's own film giant Michael Stearns and takes you on a time-space journey from the Big Bang to present-day Earth.

The Black Holes/Wonders double-feature screens everyday at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm & 3pm.

LodeStar will also debut its news realtime tool for the dome as we present our first work based in DigitalSky2, a realtime, immersive virtual reality simulator that allows live and photorealistic flights through the solar system and into 3D data sets encompassing the edge of our observable universe. You can think of it as a giant flight simulator that includes more than two million cosmic goodies to explore over about 13 billion light-years of territory. LodeStar will fly you on the trip of a lifetime as gaming technology meets education and science under the dome. You've never seen a planetarium do this before.

The new live show, Enchanted Skies: The Digital Universe, will be presented everyday at 10am, 11am & 4pm starting Nov. 4.

Tickets are $6 adults, $5 seniors, $3 youth. Opening weekend special: Buy one show, get the second free.
