Christian Arts & Theater of Corona (CAT) will perform a series of environmentally themed skits from January through April at Dos Lagos. Free and open to the public, the 40-minute skits are part of a bi-monthly program to educate the community on important environmental topics. Featured performances include “Stompin’ Out the Trash,” “Splish Splash” and “Wonderful World.”
The first performance, Stompin’ Out the Trash, begins on Jan. 26, 2008. It is a musical comedy performed by area children and teens. The theatrical performance will educate people on the important principles of “reduce, reuse and recycle” to help our planet.
Green Institute for Village Empowerment, the City of Corona and The Promenade Shops at Dos Lagos are partnering to sponsor a series of environmentally-themed performances put on by the children and teens from the Christian Arts & Theater of Corona (CAT). The youth infuse creativity through musical comedy to educate and enrich the lives of the community about environmental issues that affect everyday lives.
