Woodstock town historian, Richard Heppner will be at the Inquiring Minds Bookstore in New Paltz on Saturday July 11 from 2 - 4 pm where he will join two other local authors for what is being billed as a “local history extravaganza.” Heppner, who’s work “Remembering Woodstock,” chronicles Woodstock history from the 1700’s to the 1960s, will join A.J Schenkman, author of “Washington’s Headquaters in Newburgh” and Caroline Crane, author of “Murder & Mayhem in the Catskills” for a reading, panel discussion, and book signing. All proceeds from the sale of “Remembering Woodstock” go to support the Historical Society of Woodstock. The Inquiring Minds Bookstore is located on Church St. in New Paltz. Refresments will be served.
