LOCAL FILMMAKERS SHOWCASE: LANDSCAPE & ENVIRONMENT FILM FEST May 9, 2006

Landscape and Environment...an evening of shorts related to agriculture, forestry and the natural world. Showcasing Bay Area artists, Kim Miskowicz and her landscape film "Here a Little AND There a Little", and Bill Basquin and his film "Range", an experimental documentary that explores family relationships and farming. Plus, we'll be showing the Sierra Club's 1964 documentary "Wasted Woods" about excessive logging practices in Northern California and "Falling Giants," a short documentary from 1997 about the Redwoods of Northern California. We will also show local artist Joe McKay's Sunset Solitaire, an artistic landscape piece.
