Philadelphia artist Diane Pieri will present a talk about her exhibit, “Waterfall Journeys” on Tuesday, March 20 at 2 p.m. in the Dwight V. Dowley Gallery on the fifth floor of the Rotunda in St. Joseph Hall. Pieri is an abstract decorative painter who has developed her own artistic style based on nonwestern art forms and philosophies references traditional Eastern symbols. Her work blends ancient and modern motifs, techniques and materials, including gold leaf, papers, papyrus, linen and others. The talk is free and open to the public.
