Get ready for a sublime evening of original music featuring the songs and voices of five terrific women from Long Island starring CAROLINE DOCTOROW, who the Southampton Press called …”that pure, cool voice tinged with melancholy that her fans love”. For several years now, the live music and indie recording scenes have blossomed. One Long Island artist who has defined both scenes in the New York area is Caroline Doctorow. Through five albums that seamlessly mix originals and covers, Doctorow has grown immeasurably. As a performer she has always been a favorite, and for her, “Nothing seems to replace just getting out there and doing it.” A fixture on Long Island’s East End music scene for more than two decades, the daughter of world-renowned author E. L. Doctorow (Ragtime, Billy Bathgate, The March) now makes her home in Bridgehampton, LI.
