LMU Extension and Write Bloody Press Celebrate the Release of Brendan Constantine‘s Birthday Girl with Possom with Derrick Brown and Mark Savage August 6, 2011

Brendan Constantine, LA’s own guerilla fighter of poets, three time National Poetry Series finalist and 2002 nominee for Poet Laureate of California, will introduce his new book, Birthday Girl with Possum at The G2 Gallery.
Presented by LMU Extension, where he is currently Poet-in- Residence, he will be joined by Derrick Brown, poet and president of Write Bloody Press, publisher of Constantine’s current release. Also showing will be Mark Savage with a sampling exhibit of photographs of LA Poets titled Souls and Passions.
A $5 suggested donation at the door will directly support the International Crane Foundation. Saturday, August 6 • 4:00 – 7:00 pm.
