LMU Choruses Christmas Gala Concert December 7, 2006

This event will take place in the Sacred Heart Chapel on the Loyola Marymount University campus in Westchester. The event is Thursday December 7th and Saturday December 9th only. Tickets are available through the Central Ticket Agency at 310-338-7588. Advance reservations must be made to attend. Each of the performances begins at 8 p.m. The Department of Music will present under the direction of Dr. Mary Breden, director of choral activities. The Consort Singers will present a beautiful "Laud to Nativity" by Ottorino Respighi. The Women's Chorus and Concert Choir will offer shorter seasonal works including several traditional European carols. The combined ensembles will close this year's holiday concert with a new work by Z. Randall Stroope, his festive "Cantus Natalis."
