See Liza Minnelli in Concert for the State Theatre’s 25th Annual Benefit Gala! Liza, a Tony®, Oscar®, Grammy®, Golden Globe®, and Emmy® Award-winning entertainer performs live with a 7-piece band. Program will include signature hits like "New York, New York" and "Cabaret" as well as songs from Liza's critically acclaimed album, Confessions.
One of America’s true legends, Liza began her professional career at an early age, 16, in 1963, in an Off-Broadway revival of the musical Best Foot Forward, for which she received her first award, the Theatre World Award. It would be the first among many show business honors.
Liza's other Broadway credits include Flora the Red Menace, Chicago, The Rink, Victor/Victoria, and Liza at the Palace. Her film credits include Cabaret, Arthur, Arthur 2, Charlie Bubbles, The Sterile Cuckoo, and Sex and the City 2.
Liza starred in the first concert ever filmed live for television in 1972. The seminal Liza with a Z produced a Top 20 album and won the Emmy® for Outstanding Single Program and the prestigious Peabody Award.
