Marc Bamuthi Joseph’s wildly popular performance piece, Scourge, fuses hip hop, spoken word, and live music to explore the narrow space between history, myth and speculation. In this piece, Joseph examines the history of the people of Haiti and their rich traditions and cultural and societal influences.
