Preserving food at home is gaining popularity again, largely because of efforts to eat locally and to control what is in the food we eat. Jeanne Brandt of The Oregon State University Extension Service will discuss how to plan this year's garden with food preservation in mind and the science of food preservation that focuses on protecting the safety and quality of the food you preserve.
