Lives & Times: Lost in Siberia July 8, 2010

The Iowa Genealogical Society presents another in the popular lecture series Lives & Times: Lost in Siberia—The Rest of the Story, Thursday, 8 July 2010, at 7 p.m. at the IGS Library, 628 East Grand Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa 50309.

John Groh details two branches of the Groh family: one branch immigrated to America in the early 1900s, the other remained in Russia and was deported to Siberia by Stalin prior to WWII. Separated for over seventy years, the family has been reunited through the power of the Internet.
