On May 11, a panel of writing and gaming experts from academia and industry from across the nation will convene at Excelsior College in Albany, N.Y. to discuss the use of “serious games” – or digitally immersing students in real-world issues and situations - in education programs.
Academics from Ohio State, SUNY Stony Brook, RPI, and RIT are among the panelists. 1st Playable Production's Tobi Saulnier, a Troy-based game developer, will also participate. Global education thought leader Clark Aldrich will moderate the panel.
