Live Playwrights Society Reading May 4, 2009

To set the tone, the evening begins with a reading from an established play and a brief discussion of that play, followed by readings of the participants' plays. After each reading there is a period of discussion and constructive criticism intended to help the playwright refine his or her piece. Each reader is allowed 10 minutes and must sign up in advance. Bring a copy of your script for each reading part, plus one more for a reader of stage directions, plus one more for yourself. "Critics" should bring their most constructive critical listening and reading skills. You can also just come and observe.
