Live Music: The Ambassador of Trouts July 26, 2007

Meet The Ambassador of Trouts, a spectacle of rhythm and harmony, melody and noise. It is a melange of carefully prepared sound layers and in the moment improvisation. It is a search for the visual in sound, and the aural in light.

The Ambassador is Adrian Gormley who is a horn player, draws inspiration from the likes of Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, and Steve Lacy as well as Beth Custer and Liz Albee. He leads a combo called The Adrian Gormley Ensemble (.com) playing straight ahead jazz with many local musicians in the bay area.

Music begins at 7pm.
