Live Music - "Milo Grey" August 29, 2009

Saturday, August 29th: Live Music - "Milo Grey". In keeping with our tradition of showcasing young musicians, this is a band of local high school students performing their original tunes. Exciting new music! Show at 8pm.

In one world, Milo Grey is a simple man. He wanders the country lanes with a wooden pipe and an old suitcase, and he sleeps beside the road when he's in between towns. In that world, he is an admirable man, someone who has truly discovered himself. He feels at home among the fields and trees of the countryside, among the winding roads and wooden fences. In another world, the one you and I are familiar with, he has inspired several young men to play music together. These young men have named their band after him, and by incorporating their myriad musical influences, their proficiency with instruments atypical to rock and roll, and Mr. Grey's inspiration, they create energetic and compelling music. Show at 8pm.
