== This is NOT Your Grandparents' Radio Drama! ==
This is "live" modern audio theatre! Come see and hear the performance as part of the studio audience!
These aren't "audiobooks" or staged "readings," but actors presenting dramatic audio plays. With both music and live sound effects that create a full soundscape, these are stories in sound that transcend vision--and you can be a part of it!
The National Audio Theatre Festivals and Missouri History in Performance (MoHiP) will present stories of freedom, including that of American slave William Wells Brown and his "Leap for Freedom," plus the Steve Donofrio play, "Road Angels."
At least one other audioplay (title TBD) will be presented, plus, also scheduled to perform is famed Missouri storyteller Gladys Coggswell, relating a variety of inspirational historic regional tales.
Come see this unique presentation format as it's recorded for national broadcast. Reasonably priced tickets are available at the door before the performance.
If you'd like to participate in the week-long, hands-on workshop, please use the link included in this listing for participant details.
The National Audio Theatre Festivals is gratefully funded in part by the Missouri Arts Council and is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
