Soulful and imaginative guitarist and vocalist Tom Larsen is performing live with New York City based Musician and Composer Roxy Coss at Caribbean Soul in Brooklyn on Friday, July 29th from 8 – 11pm.
Blending a myriad of influences ranging from the Delta Blues, to Jimi Hendrix, to Bebop and Modern Jazz, Tom Larsen's playing is both emotive and informed. This internationally acclaimed artist will soon release The People vs Larsen featuring Brooklyn-born soul artist Mister Reed, which coincides with a personal feature in The Noise Beneath the Apple, an autobiographical book that profiles underground New York City musicians.
"My goal is to explore new musical genres, breaking boundaries and preconceptions of present day music. I want to make music you can feel in your bones, full of honesty, passion, joy and awareness."
