Live Jazz at Mazza Gallerie October 1, 2011

Mazza Gallerie continues the free jazz concerts, scheduled on Saturdays throughout the year, from 4 until 6 pm with one or two different bands each month at Mazza Gallerie, 5300 Wisconsin Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20015. The jazz performances take place on the mezzanine between Pampillonia Jewelers and Ann Taylor, and the sounds resound throughout the shopping center. A nice way to round out a Saturday afternoon…
October 1 – Starr Duo
This string bass and keyboard duo will captivate you as they play the “songs that you know by heart”. They will keep your toes a tappin’!
November 5 – Tom Lawrence Duo
Tom is a former L.A. studio guitarist with 30 years of professional experience in all styles with a true love for jazz. His duo with string bass will captivate you with their traditional jazz arrangements.
December 3 – Duo Caliente
This duo provides a very soothing sound produced by the combination of their beautiful musical arrangements for two Latin style guitars playing Gipsy, Flamenco and Rumba Jazz.
December 17 – Dan Reynolds Duo
Dan Reynolds has performed keyboard with numerous jazz luminaries including Najee, Larry Coryell, Eddie Harris and Ken Navarro. As a recording artist in his own right, Dan has received accolades from numerous Jazz publications. Tonight Dan’s keyboard and guitar duo will entertain you with jazz and holiday classics.
