I guess they wouldn't have to hang out giving breatholizers if more people were responsible drinkers. I go out all the time and have seen a variety of wonderful bands in and around the Waco area. If I am the DD that night I don't drink. You get your non alcoholic drinks free all night if you are DD. In my group the DD don't pay for the cover or the gas. All the drinkers pitch in and pay. We always have a GREAT TIME!

You mean the Waco Police don't hang out in the street and stop everyone leaving to give them breatholizer test. When I think of going out to hear a band the LAST place I think of is WACO.
Mexia, Whitney, Malone, West, Elk, Ross, Elm Mott, even Tokio, yes. But you can have Waco and their $50 a night bands that play dead people music.
Don't get me wrong, George's has GREAT Food. I love it. But thanks to M.A.D.D. and the Waco PD, Waco just isn't a draw for the better bands in the area. Just stick around and watch the Icehouse go under.
