Little Sprouts: Carnivorous Plants June 11, 2011

What do you think of when carnivorous plants are brought up? Does the phrase “Feed me Seymour” come to mind? Does a 1960’s B rated movie flash in your head? At this month’s Little Sprouts we unveil the truths about nature’s rooted hunters. Little Sprouts will learn how each carnivorous plant on display attracts and traps their prey. They will learn the best environments for them and how to take care of them. Each Little Sprout will be given a carnivorous plant of their own to take home.
